Here is the invitation in German

Many of us in German speaking Europe are very familiar with pastor and author Peter Scazzero best known for founding the Emotionally Healthy Discipleship movement — a ministry that integrates emotional health with Christian spiritual formation. Pete’s core belief is that spiritual maturity and emotional health are inseparable — you cannot grow spiritually without also becoming emotionally mature.

As we know ourselves more deeply the way God know us, this understanding gives more clarity about our own emotions and internal patterns that help us to live and serve others in a more wholesome way.

Here are just a few topics that will be addressed during the one-day forum

  • Knowing yourself to know God
  • Breaking the power of the past
  • Rest, Sabbath, and Renewal: God’s Design for Sustainable Leadership”
  • Learning new ways to love well
  • Surrendering control and accepting limits
  • Dealing with the element of time
  • Strengthening my marriage
  • Dealing with difficult people

When we, as leaders, develop a healthier ‘inner personal culture’, this also has an impact on the ‘inner culture’ of those we serve, whether as a pastor, elder, youth group leader or small group leader. Nate Elarton writes: ‘We want to allow Jesus to shape our inner lives more and more, so that the culture we lead is shaped accordingly.’
